ive never wound a watch until it stops.....really? I never go that far with it....
Manual wind are designed for it. They usually have a hard stop. Autos have a slipping clutch mechanism so they never really stop winding.
I learned this on WUS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok, this is confirmed. In my defense, I guess I didn’t know I had a manual. For anybody on the edge their seat, yes, if you wind this watch, will tell you the time

My speedy took about 40-50 turns before the stop. I had that same issue until I started doing that.

I was going for the “it’s defective, get rid of it” position.

40-50 turns.. WTF, that's insane - just roll your finger under the crown = approx 13-15 turns to full wind.

Unless you flip it upside down, it's hard to get full winds (at least for me). Fifty choppy little ones seems about right.

I don’t get the whole it’s hard to wind a speedy unless you holed it upside down.
I have no issue gripping the crown no matter how it’s positioned and winding it. And I’m a knuckle dragger.
