What would you get new under $7500?

Post by fastward » Thu Dec 14, 2017 5:54 pm

What would go for new that’s under $7500?
I was thinking no date sub or an Explorer.
Bracelet preferred.

Bring on the suggestions and ridicule.

Explorer. It’s amazing. What’s the rest of the collection looking like these days? The no-date is no slouch either.

Having had the MM300 and the sub at the same time I’ll tell you that they do get a little repetitive in a small collection.

I own the SubC and Explorer (the boring explorer wins my vote). I would love a Grand Seiko (diver or dress piece)..

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

You need a chrono, if this fits the budget, it is an awesome alternative!

I would get a no date Sub or another Polar Explorer II, but only because I've been looking to add another Rolex to the group.

JLC NSA is out of production, right?

I dig the colors on this one:

Planet Ocean 232.30.42.21.01.003 as an option, but probably the Sub.

Yep. Kept the SD4K and let both the MM300 and Pelagos go for that exact reason.
