Another new B&R Bands velcro strap.

Post by hobbit712 » Wed Dec 06, 2017 5:34 am

After getting lost by the USPS for over a week, I finally have my new B&R velcro band. Last week the carrier supposedly delivered my band. The tracking number showed she had delivered it. But when I checked my mailbox it was nowhere to be found.

I opened an inquiry to the USPS and notified B&R bands as well. Well lo and behold, it suddenly appeared in my mailbox yesterday with no explanation. At least it has a happy ending.

I just mounted at this morning on my Shumate Diver and I think it looks pretty good.

I also got a velcro band for my Damasco. I hope to get that on later this week.

The owner of the company is a fantastic guy, too.

I'm a big fan of Ron's Velcro straps.

I love these straps. I’ve had a few B&Rs and always kept the Velcro straps when I sold the watches ;)

The are super comfortable and easy to adjust for a perfect fit for high intensity activities

I actually just bought one of these a few weeks ago.

While I like it a lot and think it’s one of the most comfortable ways to wear your watch, since it’s adjustable by Velcro and loop- I will say I don’t think it’s super high quality. Then again it’s $30... so maybe it’s about right for the price. I just thought it felt relatively thin.

I trimmed the extra off of mine and heat sealed it. I then sent the buckle to jack so he could bead blast it.

Yea I think they feel a little thin as well. But I'm guessing it's a trade off between comfort and durability.

The extra width takes a bit of getting used to.

They’re definitely not as nice as the OEM strap, but the price is right. You can buy several in different colors for the price of one OEM strap.

I really like this. Does anyone make velcro straps that are narrow like this?

That looks far better. I hated the thin sides on it. The ggb straps feel more robust, but I didn't like the leather ends at the lugs. Your version is the best aesthetic design.
