Brett, the link leads right back to this post.
Either a mistake or truly well played.

That back view kills it. How large is this? Nomos needs some bigger low end movements.

Thanks for pointing that out, what a weird bug. It should be fixed now though.

What do you think about the Nomos?

It's a 38mm. Yeah, these are small movements, but they're nice and thin too. Nomos does make some movements that really fill up a case back, but those are in their Lambda and Lux models. Gorgeous though, got to try on a Lambda for the first time this morning.

I don't like the Ludwig models, they're the most "Nomos" of the Nomos offerings, but I think this one is probably the best of the line - setting aside the sub optimal movement fit.

Looks like it should sell well.
Personally, not my cup of tea.

Lol you guys sure are a lot kinder than the ABTW comments. I don't think we've ever made a watch that the ABTW comment section was overall favorable towards.

Love the dial, the lugs kill NOMOS for me though.

The collective IQ of that place is 45, and there are at least 90 people over there. They're probably to broke to buy one anyways.

I think you're probably the best brand rep I've ever seen on the forums, and I've been on them a long time. You do a really good job.

I love it, and 40 really is a limited edition. Usually limited means 300 or 1000.

Yeah, I always enjoy it when I see limited editions of like 3,000. I guess it sort of matters on how in-demand it is...3,000 is a lot more scarce for an Omega official LE than it is for ye olde small watch dealer like us, but it's still kind of funny to me.

The truth is, we will usually make the smallest number possible. Most of the fun for us is the design process, so we'd rather make 5 different small batches of LEs per year than one big one.

On a new project I'm designing, I just finished the 56th render before I wrote this lol.

+1 on the lugs. It was one of the things I liked the least about my Tangomat GMT.

Great dial though - well designed.

I guess I’m different. I like the thin lugs.

The lugs seem bendable with fingers strength but over all I like it

I don't mind thin lugs, but a lot of Nomos lugs are longer than they need to be, at least for my wrist. But I just correct it by getting smaller Nomoses in general.

Exactly. Thin lugs are fine, but they seem to embrace the strap gap by making them long. Just doesn’t work for the small wristed like myself IMO.

And for me.

The long lugs seems to a something they embrace and they may have their legions of fans, but it's a deal-breaker for me. And whether the watch may be smaller or large (it really makes no difference)r, the 'strap gap' of the Nomos watches just doesn't do.

And as said by others here too, TimelessLux gets my respect for their honesty and willingness to listen.

Just to pile on, I totally agree. If Nomos could offer this watch
Image

in SS with some properly sized (it's only 35mm, so might not even need to change anything) version of their basic HW movement... and set a price similar to their other low end watches... I'd be a buyer tomorrow.

I realize that Nomos has some more normal shaped models, but they're all expensive. The place where Nomos shines for me is in the ~$2,000 no man's land of watches.
