Not 100% sure I’ll pick one up since I’m not sure I’m going to part with the standard 42mm field, but where is everyone getting these from?

My Seiko dealer in Japan is also a Hamilton AD. I can send you the info if you decide to get one.Torrid wrote:Not 100% sure I’ll pick one up since I’m not sure I’m going to part with the standard 42mm field, but where is everyone getting these from?

I'm almost glad I didn't know about the brown one, I'd have had a hard time deciding. Happy with the black dial though.logan2z wrote:They do. Now I have to decide which to go forCGSshorty wrote:They both look great.

The brown dial looks very becoming...can't go wrong with either.
I'm thoroughly enjoying mine...esp. since the shiznit green came in. I'm delighted with this nato. Note to self: post a review for him before month's end.

Isn't that a great strap?Denizen wrote:The brown dial looks very becoming...can't go wrong with either.

It is...and a review isn't maybe the correct word, more like a blurb from a satisfied customer.jswing wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 5:24 pmIsn't that a great strap?Denizen wrote:The brown dial looks very becoming...can't go wrong with either.

I've ordered natos from Timefactors and a few other places over the years. None were very special and they went into a drawer eventually.
This one is NICE.
Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue
hmmm.. that brown/tropic dial version looks darker in some shots, and it looks nice in other shots!
Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue
Shiznit straps are amazing. I try and use the bracelet and the stock strap on my 42mm Hamilton field and they never last more than a day before ending up on a Toxic. I love NATOs anyway but the Shiznits are in a league of their own. I like the regular Toxics but these Shiznits are so nice I rarely use those either.

Since we’re on the topic of shiznits, they are singlehandedly responsible for making me like NATOs. I tried for years but regular NATOs always felt cheap and stupid looking to me on my wrist. Now I wear my Exp1 and Seiko 053 on them exclusively.

I love my shiznits, and I wonder if there will be duller/less shiny versions of it?

Hush your mouth. Shiznits are perfect in every way and anything else is blasphemy.
Let me echo sentiments about NATO straps. I’ve bought a couple over the years and never took to them, always being a bracelet guy first, then leather or rubber straps. Since getting a shiznit, I’ve worn it every single day on my 6306 for over a year and a half now.

I really like this watch.
If it were quartz I’d snag one as a work beater. Not sure it would fit in rotation with a Mk.XVIII

Incredibly good looking. I'm going to hold out for the brown dial I think.

Thank you for the comparison pics!
Helps a lot!
I like the black dial and I believe the black one is more versatile

I keep coming back to this thread and looking at all the pictures. I’ve held strong thus far, but it will likely be my first purchase post-wedding watch embargo.
