Has anyone seen the brown dial version?
photo borrowed from worn and wound:
Cool. I had a brief look but couldn't find any live shots of the brown. May be it hasn't been released yet?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a lighting issue and they only come in black.
From the Worn and Wound article:
The watches will be available in two dial choices, one black (February release), and one a matte brown (May release) that takes on a slightly tropical, vintage hue

No worries. The brown looks pretty cool, looking forward to seeing it in person.

Wears really nice with how thin and light it is. Ignore my 22mm strap

Damn, I think that Haveston would look perfect on my silver dialed Khaki. Do you like the way it wears, is the sliding keeper a good idea?

I like the Hamilton a lot on this strap, its my favorite one I have tried. But its probably because of how thin and light the watch is. On my Sinn U1 or Marathon it isn't as comfortable since the strap and keeper puts the watch quite a bit higher off the wrist.

Like mine a lot. Thicker than most, and perfect for the chunky Scubapro. Wears well and the sliding keeper lets me adjust the fit.

^ Looks great on leather!
Mine has been +3 sec per day. Power reserve was just under 50 hours from a full wind. Very happy with this one.

I got mine here from Greece.
From an authorized dealer and there are probably the first ones released for EU market.
I see the logo is different than the Japanese release.
Japan's has been released with the regular logo.
Mine has the old Hamilton logo.on crown and caseback
Maybe they thought that after

First new watch I bought in years. I got a lot of watches in rotation for the price if it wears off were you don't care to wear it a good beater for camping and yard work and on the week end so you don't ruin the watch you like. You never know you mite like it. I used mine on a volunteer work for the Bureau of Land Management BLM in the Mohave desert surprising still looks new the case and crystal held up.

Matt, the lume on this one is really well done IMO. It does look like lightly aged tritium, but it's not overdone and doesn't look contrived. That said, I don't have mine any more, but that's just because I sold both my Hamiltons in preparation for buying the new Black Bay in July. And really, I think they're selling for less now than when I bought mine at full retail, so even if you don't love it forever you won't take a big hit selling it.

Good point. I’ll likely pick one up. If I end up not liking it it wouldn’t be the first time I’d sold a watch. That Black Bay is gonna be sweet btw.

On a related Hamilton Khaki note, I finally found a good picture of the updated Khaki Day-Date. It didn’t get a lot of press at Basel, but W&W did briefly talk about it on their podcast.
I believe the size is still the same at 40mm or 41mm. No price or ETA info.
I like it a lot, despite the 3 numeral cutting into the date window.

I'm still happy with mine. Fake patina I think is cool but I'm in the minority there. Lume is weak sauce, but it's enough to read through the night but just barely.
I'd like to get the bracelet from the date version to try on it.

I'm going to pick one of these up and I'm trying to decide on dial color. Leaning towards the black but the brown is appealing as a change of pace. Has anyone seen the brown dial in person yet and care to share their impressions? None of my local ADs have one to look at. It does look a bit bland in photos.

I do have a lot of black dialed watches so brown would make for some variety
