New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue
38mm, manual wind, no date, drilled lugs. A pretty accurate recreation of the original. Currently only available in Japan but will be released worldwide in January.

Love it!
40mm would have my order, but a great looking watch. They didn’t bugger up the dial with a date either.

No date and drilled lugs is awesome. Great looking watch! This was an American company, why don't they release in the US first? Did they forget?

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue
I love it. I already have the date version of this, and it's a great watch. 38mm, but with 48mm lug to lug, it really wears like 40 IMO. I spoke with my Seiko dealer in Japan, who is also a Hamilton dealer, and it's actually not available there until December, although I guess it's possible the boutique already has it. Price is 53,000 yen, which is around $475.
Here's how the case wears on 6.75" wrist.

Thanks for the information, that’s a good price... definitely will pick one up.jswing wrote:I love it. If it wears anything like the IWC Mk. XV then I'll definitely be buying one. Late birthday present to myself

They’re going to sell a lot of these.

We seem to always introduce hand-made items that glow in the dark to Japan first.

I'm tempted to hunt one down at retail, but the more rational side of me says they'll be available on Joma for 25-35% off in 6 months.logan2z wrote:If it wears anything like the IWC Mk. XV then I'll definitely be buying one. Late birthday present to myself

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue
Probably true but I don't think I'd be willing to wait that long to save $100-$150 and forego the factory warranty.streetracer101 wrote:I'm tempted to hunt one down at retail, but the more rational side of me says they'll be available on Joma for 25-35% off in 6 months.logan2z wrote:If it wears anything like the IWC Mk. True. It's a relatively small chunk of cash when you think about what servicing costs.logan2z wrote:Probably true but I don't think I'd be willing to wait that long to save $100-$150 and forego the factory warranty.streetracer101 wrote:I'm tempted to hunt one down at retail, but the more rational side of me says they'll be available on Joma for 25-35% off in 6 months.logan2z wrote:If it wears anything like the IWC Mk.
