Interesting read. I want to get Nomos, but it hasn’t called to me yet. Maybe in time.

Me, too. They just don’t make “my” Nomos yet. I’m not sure they ever will.Nellipj wrote:Interesting read. I want to get Nomos, but it hasn’t called to me yet. Maybe in time.

+3. I really want one, but the lugs just don't work for me.

I does be finding the headline both discriminatory and elitist.
Love their world timer but not much else.

I had a Tangomat GMT for a few months and the lugs and Bauhaus design were too stark for me. I found I like softer design lines. Love the company though for making affordable watches with in house movements.

Still my favorite brand overall. Though I don't love many of their watches, the models that I like, I really like. I like the brand attitude and concept enough to keep me a big fan.

Nice article. Not my style and above what I want to spend, but nice simple design nonetheless. I really like their approach 'no beep'.

Some of the responses were a little bit much, but this statement basically sums up how I explain the appeal of mechanical watches to most people who ask:
I just really hope we see some continued innovation from them (rather than just new cosmetic changes to existing watches).

Yeah, they're like the Panerai of dress watches. Simple, classic designs, but there's only so many colors you can try before they all just look the same.

Definite fan of the brand but I just couldn't get the Tangente to fit comfortably.

Also a big fan of the brand. Love love the one I own. I'm glad to see they are making a bracelet. Wonder if it will work on older watches. In wish they'd up their strap game. I'm still looking for the perfect blue strap for this:

Go with a 21mm curved end strap. Peter @ Watch.Acc had made a few for me already, and they're the primary straps I wear with my Nomos watches and the long lugs.aztecknight wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2017 5:32 pmAlso a big fan of the brand. That said, I've asked Drew to see what kind of alcantara he has available for my Topper Weltzeit. That will be a good, dress-down combo.

I love Nomos. Admired them for awhile. Definitely see the white dial blue hand Orion in my future. I need to find a place that carries them to get a feel for the size.

Must admit, this brand is growing on me. At first I thought all of their offerings were just too similar but I have come to appreciate their styling. I'd like to find that gorgeous blue dial with a date though. Do they make that?

How about a khaki or bamboo color strap with blue stitch?aztecknight wrote:Also a big fan of the brand. Love love the one I own. I'm glad to see they are making a bracelet.
