Unless I’m reading this wrong, you pay $1957 for a chance to win.

I read it that everyone who enters bids $1957, one person wins and gets the buy it for $1957.

If that’s the case, it’s a great deal. But considering it’s StockX, has me wondering if everyone pays $1957. I can’t imagine them losing money on a watch.

It’s seems like a contest. Everyone needs to commit, but the winner gets to buy it for $1957. I assume the losers simply don’t pay anything.

It appears only one person actually pays $1957.
Good deal for someone.

I “entered” as I’d take one of these for $1957. At $7k (or a premium) probably not as I already have a Spectre.

General premise of the site is interesting – everybody can put in a bid, and when the seller is done, they can sell direct to the highest bidder. Kinda like eBay, but with more long-term tracking so there's a more clearly determined historical value for everything.

Sounds like a silent auction approach where eBay is the standard style of auction where you're aware of the current highest bit.
