WUS warning

Post by hoppyjr » Thu Nov 02, 2017 6:22 pm

I happened over to the WUS website on my Mac, but received a "your password has expired" notice. The link to "change your password' shows as an unsecure address/site, so I did not enter any data.

Since I have never experienced a password expiration on WUS, I'm concerned that this is may be a hack/takeover issue.

Proceed on WUS at your own risk.

Sounds fishy. I've never had my password expire on WUS. Thanks for the heads up.

I see the same on my iPad. Nothing on WUS I need to see anyway.

It's legit. They are making all users change passwords due to the recent issues they have been having. I've already changed mine. Actually changed it on the other forums I visit, as well as Tapatalk.

I tried logging out and then logging back into WUS (tapatalk) . Now I when i look, first the posts briefly show up, then disappear. Then I switch back and forth between views I get nothing. Seems more like the site is jacked up but maybe hacked. Unfortunately I saw your warning after I did this.

I also got it. Can't reset my password. Guess I'll have to wait.

I reset mine on a browser. Tapatalk isn’t recognizing the new password.

Probably not a lot to lose, but I'm not gonna re-up for a while till they say what they've f**ked up this time. "investigating a security issue", yeah... that place hasn't run right since those verticalscope guys took over.

I remember all the crashes Big Ernie had also. Not to mention he started with all the ads. So I wouldn't exactly said VS did it all. Oh and when VS took over a bunch of d-bag mods left. Which was a good thing also.

They seem to do this every two or three years. I've had to do it before.

I changed my password earlier today; didn't think much about it at the time...

now I can't find my Invicta.
