Sandara straps. Nice!
Sandara straps. Nice!
I ordered this from Sandara straps in Poland aka Straps68. Gotta say it's a high quality leather with superb stitching. Very thick! I will order more. Really nice stuff at reasonable prices.

That does look nice.
Is it just the photos or are the holes a bit oversized?

Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
must be the pics as i had to kinda force the buckle pin thru the holes to get it thru.
Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
What length is that strap?
Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
I think it was like 130/85 hence im on smallest hole.

Why would the holes be different sizes?

I think meant last hole.Terpits wrote:Why would the holes be different sizes?
Eric, I think you need like 120/70 or 75 straps. Then you would be able to have the buckle centered

i usually wear 125/75 but i really don't like the buckle centered underneath. i prefer it off to the side. I notice my longer straps like this are more comfortable for me when the buckle isn't in the center.
Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
Most Panerai guys don’t want the buckle centered.tattoo chef wrote:I think meant last hole.Terpits wrote:Why would the holes be different sizes?

So they have an expensive watch but don’t know how to wear a strap. Gotcha. That’s like wearing your belt buckle off to the right.CGSshorty wrote:Most Panerai guys don’t want the buckle centered.tattoo chef wrote:I think meant last hole.Terpits wrote:Why would the holes be different sizes?

I personally hate when a buckle is almost all the ways at the top. Uncomfortable and goofy looking.

Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
It seems buckles can dig into my wrist when centered. I stumbled on liking longer straps when I was given a strap that was longer. I tried it and found it to be more comfortable.CGSshorty wrote:Most Panerai guys don’t want the buckle centered.tattoo chef wrote:I think meant last hole.Terpits wrote:Why would the holes be different sizes?

Personal preference I guess. That said I have shorter and longer straps.tattoo chef wrote:So they have an expensive watch but don’t know how to wear a strap. Gotcha. To be fair, panerai style buckles are often like small shovels.

The green strap is 135/85 and looking at your wrist shot I'd say you could use between 120/80 and 130/80, depending on how much tail you like.
I do have other buckles than the pre-v style. An ARD style buckle is a good option.ericf4 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2017 5:20 pmI prefer the non panerai style too. But many of my straps came w them. There's lots of bait in this thread but I thought we were trying to be mature.CGSshorty wrote:I’m pissed Rob beat me to the tail joke.
Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
What the hell would give you that impression?
Re: Sandara straps. Nice!
It's great seeing all the love - I think we have to be mature on those other forums where a (adult) sense of humor is frowned upon
