Back on the OEM rubber. Like it much better than the bracelet. Anyone know where to just buy the straps? I wouldn’t mind having a few more. They’re soft and the buckle and keeper are super nice.

Beat me to it!

Total joke, I love the Navajo.
I grew up around some of the best, preacher named Johny and his wife and kids. He would come out every few years, stay at our house or my grandparents when he would visit the churches around here. Was great friends w my Pawpaw, so he and my dad would travel to Arizona and helped build churches and supplied and installed the flooring. Last saw him and his family about 5 years ago at my pawpaws funeral.
I ran a trading post in Zuni, NM from '76 to '81, lived in Gallup, NM... Native Americans are some of the nicest, most spiritual and family oriented people... the Navajo are very different from the Zuni & Hopi though, more nomadic and related to Eskimos, supposedly migrating across the Bering Strait... the Zuni & Hopi have been inhabiting their individual villages for well over a thousand years and have closely related religious ceremonies and deities... nothing like watching a cool Zuni or Hopi rain dance or corn dance... bucket list stuff

sadly, the Navajo men tended towards serious alcohol problems, not that the Zunis or Hopis were immune to the effects of the devil juice... but Navajo society is definitely matriarchal because of it

Yes very true. It's sad, this is why Johnny turned to the Christian faith, to try and keep people away from drugs and alcohol.

He told stories about rituals regarding peyote and very odd things happening related to it... unexplainable.

This is pretty crazy. I live in Ramah and work in Gallup. My Dad's family had a Navajo trading post in Ramah for over 100 years. Currently work with several guys that are either Navajo or Zuni.

Thanks. I remember yours because I had never seen the brand before but loved the big arrow hands. I got mine so cheap, I'll send it in for service and a relume to clean up a nasty lume job.

Reconditioned 7548 including a relume job. It is super nice. It will even be better when I put on the stock bezel.

Its been a while since I've worn it. I am glad I picked it up before Kremke when out of business. Gotta love that awesome bezel.
