Incoming Marathon JDD
I have missed having a Marathon in the line up, especially for work. I picked up the JDD, automatic on bracelet, to fill the void. It's probably the most solid, beast of a watch that I have owned. It should be here Saturday...

Congrats bud. I liked mine.
I had Duarte swap the day/date wheels to black ones and it made the watch look even better. Relatively cheap and easy mod.

Re: Incoming Marathon JDD
Absolutely agree.
The only design I can think of that looks OK with a white background date wheel is when the dial uses large white indices (such as a Seiko SKX007). With Arabic numerals, the white box looks out of place.
I actually think the font on the black background is more legible.
