JSAR Bezel ?
Has anyone ever removed the bezel on a JSAR? I sold one to a guy that is saying that the bezel isn’t working properly. I’m skeptical because I’ve never had an issue with it before, but I guess it’s possible. Looking online it appears to be a wire and spring mechanism, but I was curious if anyone has first hand knowledge.
Re: JSAR Bezel ?
I recall a conversation with Jack @ IWW and he explained the JSAR bezel (actually all the Marathon divers) was difficult to remove and often he could not at all. Jack explained that it sometimes requires an entirely new case/bezel combo.

As I've been searching through posts at WUS on this topic, I've seen similar statements. I'm suspicious of the whole thing anyway as I've never had an issue with a Marathon bezel. I offered to return the watch if he wasn't satisfied.

The bezel on the Marathons are amongst the best I have had. Solid ratcheting, never had an issue!
Marathon customer service, in Toronto, ON is excellent!!
What is the specific issue the buyer is complaining about?

Ok, so my story just got interesting. Turns out the guy who was messaging me wasn’t even the guy I sold the watch to. I assumed it was because the guy I sold to had a low post count and I thought he had a second account. I only realized after I received a message from the buyer today saying the watch was awesome that the other guy had the wrong seller. WUS selling drama averted.
