Switch up to the Doxa 800ti Sharkhunter -- thanks Ben!
I have probably owned 25 Doxas (maybe more), but had never pulled the trigger on a 800ti version despite coming close a bunch of times on both the Pro and Sharky, and then later the M31. In theory, a ti Doxa would be ideal for me, but I was never really excited by the 800ti gas tubes, non-BOR bracelet and narrow lug area for straps, and while the M31 version solved the gas tubes, it was an extra cost and the M31 and text logo was not my favorite (whereas I love the U.S. divers and aqualung logos). Still, I found myself the last couple weeks looking at them again and almost decided to go for a new M31 when Ben posted this one earlier this week--so I figured I better jump -- sorry Mike!
I will need to add a link or two tonight to avoid having the ratchet all the way out, but the 800ti is even lighter than I expected and I don't mind the gas tubes as much as I thought I would. They really just look like normal raised indicies. I purchased this one to be an isofrane watch since I know it fits in the lugs, but I like how it wears on bracelet and am happy that I finally pulled the trigger!
