Shipping to the UK from the US
Does anyone have experience with this? Which carrier did you use, and what insurance options do I have?
Re: Shipping to the UK from the US
CGI. It's all I use now.

Re: Shipping to the UK from the US
From a UK point of view..
Whenever I've bought from the US..
I've never had a problem with USPS Tracked/Signed for lower value items. (anything marked at $20 or under incur no import taxes or delays)
For higher value items, Fed-Ex are good, as there are no customs delays. Fed-Ex pay the relevant UK Import Taxes, then bill the receiver afterwards. (usually takes about a month for the bill to come through)

USPS Priority. I ship to Europe quite a bit and have not been let down.

You will save on insurance with CGI. I shipped a Rolex SD insured for 6k a few months ago and i think the insurance was around $4.

Mike the Rockmaster & Mike the demer have both sent me things via USPS that have gone missing for weeks and I mean weeks. Also, UK customs hate me, I don't know why

Re: Shipping to the UK from the US
As long as you get paid via wire, buyer covers shipping fees (use FedEx through CGI), and you ensure to specify buyer pays custom fees, you're perfectly fine shipping to UK.

You're absolutely right Mike, but they did help me give up smoking, even though I didn't want too
