Anyone buy from Capetown Jewelers in Atlanta?

Found a good deal on a watch I'm interested in, curious if anyone here has dealt with them? Seem they have been around along time and have positive yelp reviews etc.

their site is awful....looks old school......when i read about using fax to order etc i realize they must have been there a loooong time..They have some great deals.

If this is the same place as Capetown Diamond Co. then yes. 1993 I bought a Tag 2000 diver. I guess it was grey market as the serial number was scratched out.

I bought my first sub from them. The watch was nice, but it said full kit and came missing some accessories. Their pics and descriptions can be vague, but their watches are authentic and can be a good value of you get everything you're expecting.

Oh well was about to wire funds for a 233. Only to find they didn't actually have it. Bummer. I asked a bunch of questions about what it came with and got answers from the inventory guy. Then got a call that they didn't have the watch. Not sure how he answered the specifics on my questions if he didn't have the watch. Oh well. More 233's out there.

Interesting lifetime warranty provided you send them the watch every 3-4 years to be "spiffed up"...at a "nominal fee"..

Oh yea, that reminds me of what I didn't like about Capetown!

My Tag leaked while on a dive. I sent it back to the Capetown "service center" and they replaced the movement, but instead of the really great looking flat grey dial it came back with an ugly, aftermarket looking faded white dial with virtually no lume. I hated the watch after that.

I had forgotten all about that until you mentioned the "lifetime warranty".
