New Hamilton Pan Europ in green

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Aug 23, 2017 10:52 am

Guys, did you by chance happen to catch this Hamilton Pan Europ in green?

Really didn't remember seeing pictures of one released over at Basel this year,
and couldn't find anything about it over at Hamilton's site, Facebook, or Twitter.
But stumbled upon the watch over at Arizona Fine Time everyone.

Evidently the watch will have a nice green sunray dial, and green striped NATO,
or leather strap. As well as 42mm stainless steel case, 50M WR, AR coated sapphire
crystal, and H-30 automatic with 80 hour power reserve also.

A picture for you...

Those would be so much better without the day/date display.

Doesn't have the pop of colours of the blue dial and thus looses the vintage vibe of the original.

I like the blue version. Not feeling this one.

That's not bad, green makes a nice change from the usual dial colours although I'm not a fan of sun ray dials. I like the Pan Europ, wouldn't mind adding one to my collection.

Too much green for me-- maybe better with a solid black nato...I agree with Hoppy on the day/ date...

Thanks for sharing Tom.

Hey everyone, just saw this new info about this one we touched on back in the
summer. ..Have a few more pictures, along with details that include exhibition
case-backs, and the watch coming with both a rally leather strap, and nice NATO.

Just a few pictures...

Strange.

I find it too green for this model but if the sarb017 had this level of emerald green I might have kept it.

Did Rolex popularize the green watch? I can't recall one prior to the 16610lv.

Omega made a whole bunch in the late 60's early 70's. But the LV certainly revitalized the color.

I can’t imagine wearing anything that color. It reminds me of the new Mercedes green.
