New acquisition

Post by poppydog » Fri Aug 11, 2017 1:15 pm

Wanted to try something black and quartz, and first thought was a black Sinn UX, but there are none in the UK and Sinn has such a small dealer network, and, instead of replying to my email asking if I could get one direct, just forwarded it to a UK AD (who I already knew didn't have any). So, decided to spend my readies somewhere else and got this:

That's a cool watch. It's a shame you couldn't get a UX, but this is a sweet replacement.

Thanks guys, I still like the idea of a UX, but there are only three dealers in the UK and only one of those is an actual shop. I've never actually seen one and would want to handle one and try it on before actual purchase.

The CWC is the mark 2 with 120 click bezel and saphire crystal. The dial is a bit smaller than I'm used to but is super readable. I may try it out on a dive in the next couple of weeks.
Regards

I was really impressed with how my CWC quartz seconds hand hit the marks straight on.

How is the new 120 click bezel? Any play?

Not really, seems pretty tight (as in not actually tight, but feels secure), and yes the seconds' hand precision is impressive.

Now I need one. :(
