I'll be going there Friday after I leave work at 3:30. I work in NYC so it's convenient.

I’m going. Doing the “official” launch of ARES Watch Co. & the first watch: DIVER-1.

Totally looking forward to it!
Will you have a booth or just walking around? I'm going to try to stop in on Friday, but I'm not certain if I can make it.
Swing by and hit me up and get your hands on the Diver-1.

Ya and he’ll probably be selling the watches that were supposed to be sent out to customers!

There must be a mistake... There's two too many decimals in that date from Yao.

So this isn't a joke.

Sorry I would totally be pissed if I was still waiting a watch from this moron and keeps bring out different models. It does NOT matter if it is a Ready To Wait model or not. Pretty shitty to say the least.

Graham, love the logo at 12. Very CAG-like with a more "masculine" feel... The other is the Peyronie's disease version.

I'll take the contrary opinion - I'd look hard at the Diver-1 if it were an auto movement. It's a great looking watch though.

I'm limited on the quartz in my collection to my Aerospace (no second hand) and my Micky Mouse Time Electric (sweep second hand). The ticking second hands remind me of the quartz movement that nearly killed the watch industry.

I hear that, and my reasoning is that nobody will dive an automatic watch in a legitimate operational environment, so why not use an engine that will work for a decade without service or worry.

All watches fit a niche, and the niche I’m working in is reality: hard use + longevity.

I'm not a quartz guy either but I would totally rock that one. It's a great looking piece. The reason I dig it is the same reason I love my GSD watch. Uber clear and legible dials that are eye popping. Just a great look.
