WRUW August 10
Re: WRUW August 10
How is it Ed ? On our size wrists I mean
Re: WRUW August 10
It's smaller than we usually wear. Not t get to personal, but I have trouble with my joints, including wrists, so more comfy is important to me.Panerai7 wrote:How is it Ed ? On our size wrists I mean
That said, I was considering this or a 14060M Sub as my "nato watch". This has a larger dial presence, matte dial, that "field watch" aesthetic that just works on nato. The five year warranty doesn't hurt either. It was also less expensive than a 4-line 14060M.
I've been wearing the EZM3F much over the last couple years, and this week the EZM2. I've become more comfortable with 39-40mm stuff, so I see this as ideal. Lightweight, comfy, and discrete. It's definitely a nice pairing with nato.
I've tried to streamline to quality stuff that I'll wear often. I grew tired of looking at watches and having to decide. This will be my nato watch, the 114060 for bracelet, the Weiss on Perlon (and some color).
I hope to be done. I hope.

I actually didn't see your post and picked the same strap because it just works perfectly.
Here are some other colors;

Re: WRUW August 10
Thanks guys. The Strap came from a PO GMT and happens to fit the SMMC rather well, "almost" perfectly. Comfortable, durable, and the deployant on it is one of the best in the biz.MDF wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 12:27 pmI agree that strap looks superb on that watch!JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:49 amThe strap helps a lot. The bracelet is... uh... not for me.

How're your initial impressions?Jeep99dad wrote:The Halios Delfin on loan from a fellow WIS
I preordered this one and was kinda disappointed in the spring bar location. Quite a large strap gap. Lume was pretty weak and uneven if I recall too.

How do you like it compared to the Seaforth?Jeep99dad wrote:The Halios Delfin on loan from a fellow WIS

Re: WRUW August 10
Congrats (and also to the other new EXP owners). That looks reasonably amazing. Always found the older EXP 1 a bit plain looking, but the new version certainly addresses that.

Beautiful explorers guys and congrats!
I may have to pull my 114270 out. It's hard to beat.
I will have the new lume explorer soon.

The Seaforth feels so small and light sort of dainty and this was feels very heavy for its size. Solid. Case shape is so different as are dial and hands and bezel. It looks and feel like a nicer watch, of higher quality
I prefer the Seaforth design and style but wish it had the case width and length of the Delfin but not the weight

I like it but don't love it. I admit It's cool but doesn't have the "charm" of the Seaforth. Better finish than Seaforth imo and nicer bezel. Like the hands not 100% sure on the hour markers. They could grow on me.nweash wrote:How're your initial impressions?Jeep99dad wrote:The Halios Delfin on loan from a fellow WIS

Too/unnecessary heavy.
Lug holes could be better located but not horrible at all. Works fine on this canvas.
Lume isn't as good as Seaforth however it's not bad at all. and it is uniform
