I’m thinking no, but there is a practical side in my eyes. A lot of them tell you to ensure the watch is dry before unscrewing the crown or operating the pushers. If they can be operated under water, they can be operated with wet hands or after you climb out of the pool.

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

It's a micro you payless than the big boys like Omega were the pusher can be used you get what you pay for. But I guess there's not many from this article as you would think.
