People will eventually catch on to hoedicky. Do you want to get stuck trying to flip one of their stupid watches when the music stops?

Never underestimate the number of complete idiots with lots of money. Exhibit A: 98% of TRF.

Of course, I would never pay a cent for a dink LE. Unless it's a 1:1 Mil sub reissue for $6k.

Honestly, I'm really jealous that I didn't think of hoedinky first.
Step 1) Tell stupid people with a lot of cash what's cool.
Step 2) Sell stupid people with a lot of cash your overpriced shit that's sort of similar to what you told them was cool
Step 3) Profit.

It's amazing in its simplicity.

LOL!! It's Hungarian for watch or clock, IIRC.

I don't wish to sound bitter, but the people selling them for a big mark-up - is it me, or is that just completely lacking in class?
Say I bought one, and it arrived and I genuinely didn't like it, I would sell it at what I paid, if not less.. or is that just me?

Seems there Is no honour left these days.

Not sure I agree with you and don't really think it's an honour or class issue. Let's think of another example: You some how find your way onto the La Ferrari order list, You buy said La Ferrari at the factory price of $1.5M, You don't like it, another of the limited owners doesn't like his either, you all have the only two LaFerrari's available for public sale IN THE WORLD, you sell yours for $1.5M "if not less" and he sells his for $5.5M (which is what the only available La Ferrari at the time was listed for and probably sold for).

If the price were reasonable (to me) I'd buy one - not because of the collaboration but because I like it and think it's a good looking watch. Just not into paying the premium for it having hodinkee engraved on tbe back.

Hopefully JCB will release a non co-branded version for a significantly less. Good looking piece, imho
