Not sure why I keep this one as it doesn't get worn much, but just can't make myself sell it.

Whisky has killed more men than bullets, but most men would rather be full of whisky than bullets.

Switch up to an incoming that just arrived!
This is the third time with the AP Diver, and this one should stick. Had the last one for a couple years and loved it, but used it in trade to move to the Smurf when I was overloaded with larger divers and craved something else for work (knowing it would be easier to find again than some of the others I was thinking of selling). After selling a bunch of larger divers over the past six months or so, I found myself top heavy on bracelet watches for work. So, after selling the 1665, I set out to find something cool to pair with the DSSD Blue (which is a definite keeper) and the ti Ploprof (which has turned out to be more wearable and fun than originally anticipated, but I am still not sure it will last forever--at least with the white dial variation). I thought about another Patek Aquanaut 5167, but I think I prefer the much more expensive 5164 (which will be in my future at some point). I ended up gravitating back to AP. I looked at a bunch of current and older 42mm ROOs and never quite found one that I liked enough, and while I love the look and idea of the new 44mm ti ROO with black ceramic bezel, I am still weary of the size, and would want to try one on before pulling the trigger, and of course it is well over double the cost of the diver. That brought me back around to the diver, which I missed soon after trading it the last time. Found one with the original dial and solid case back (which I like better) and a fairly recent service at a good price, and so here it is!
