WTF is this thread about again?

If you guys can stop thinking about Brad's prison pussy (and I can stop thinking about T-bear) long enough, I'm finally running low on my regular stash of oil. There is probably a link to some product in this thread somewhere, but I'm afraid to look too hard. (see what I did there...)

Congratulations Ralph, and best of luck in the new venture. My wife won't let me go clean shaven, next beard oil order heading your way.

For you guys with facial hair who haven't tried beard oil....it's a game changer

So I’ve had some sort of beard my whole adult life and just found out about beard products last year and picked up some wash, control and oil in a kit and it seems pretty good, but I have no idea on what the right “regiment” is.

I’ve read not to use beard wash more than 3 times a week as it can dry out your beard. The control and oil claim to do the same thing - moisturize and tame wild hairs.

Can some of you guys who’ve been using these products share your insights on what the best regiment is for you?

That’s correct on the beard wash.

Not sure what the “control” is you’re referring to? Is that a moisturizer type product? If so it’s mostly referred to as beard butter.

Beard oil and beard butter do the same thing - tame the hairs. Just like the hair on our scalp differs from one another, facial hair is no different - some products that work well for some don’t for others.

Just from personal experience, while I prefer the consistency of the beard butter, beard oil just does a better job of taming and conditioning the beard.

My product is all natural and I wouldn’t have it any other way when it comes to beard care.

P.s. thanks for your order Michael Image

Is there like a starter kit? I’ve had a beard for years but I’m finally waking up to this beard care thing

My wife bought me this kit with wash and control, plus a bottle of their beard oil.

Much better than general soap or shampoo. The “control” product is like a leave in conditioner.

I’m sure there are better products out there but I’m a newbie and not sure how to use everything.

I can’t grow a beard for love nor money. I feel this thread is discriminatory against the facial hair challenged amongst us.

Good luck Ralph, happy to hear it’s still going.

Sounds good to me. I’m required to be clean shaven at work.

Put it in the T&A forum and call it "for skin care"

That’s where any DWC thread on lotions and potions is going to go anyways.

I’ve been lucky in the beard department. Any of you guys who are not beardly challenged getting a benefit from products like these?

I do from the beard balm/beard oils definitely. If you don't use something like that then your skin under your beard dries out, and it can then itch or flake like dandruff. I use to use Hair Butter years ago when I was overseas before the whole beard thing took (my beard was also about 8 inches long) and it did wonders on not letting my beard from becoming coarse and itchy. Now I use the oil I got from Ralph and I love it. :salute:

I am a big time skeptic of “instant” beard growth products, like the beard pills you may regularly see on social media. Really, I think they’re bull.

I chose specific oils for my product that promote healthier skin and healthier hair. While I’m not going to make a false claim that my product guarantees you grow a bad ass beard, the oils used do promote facial hair growth.
