I don't know about 'teflon', but Jack at IWW can do black DLC coating. I had one watch done by him and it is superb.

LOL you guys give me a couples of good laught today
its to keep "vintage" look on a watch case/parts that had this "PVD" process done to it almost 30 years ago , 95% of the coating is gone
Im aware of DLC and CERAKOTE process , but still , wanted to keep the original look of it. you know , good old stuff ;)

You could DLC the parts and then give them a "vintage" finish by using sandpaper on the edges.

Ive read that if the DLC was not done properly (...no everybody work well theses days) then the DLC can "chips" wich is worst than having PVD fading on the edges...

Im actually checking all the alternatives , black cerakote look awesome too.
its truly depend of the quotes for theses services , wich im not aware at all for a single watch.

The cerakote I've seen on watches didn't look good and it also can chip. It has a rougher texture then most prefer.

DLC is crazy expensive. I think IWW will do just the head of the watch for $825. You can try yobokies overseas though. This guy does cerakote also https://www.artificehoroworks.com/produ ... /cerakote/

I've heard mixed reviews about MCWW. I'd tread cautiously dealing with them.
