DOUBLE POSTS.... you can delete them.

Guys, we are all fed up with double posts, it happens to most of us but some either don't notice you've done it or are not aware that you can delete it yourself. It's easy, just click on the little square with the three dots in, upper right of your post. The drop down will offer you the option to delete it.
Us mods don't get paid enough to tidy up behind you lot all day

I posted this for Tapatalk users a while back, but these deletes only work if no one has replied to the thread. Also, I've made it habit of refreshing the screen after every post, but duplicates don't always show up even then.

I'd blame Tapatalk, but the forum runs funky even from my Mac.

I don't know all the technicalities of how the forum works Matt, I only come on here via my Android phone. I know Andrew is trying to fix the double post problem though. Some think it's down to Tapatalk but I don't use that and I still double post sometimes

You can still blame Tapatalk

Seriously, the server-side plugin executes whether or not you post via the mobile app so that it can send push notifications to app users for various events eg. someone posts in a thread they subscribe to, someone replies to their post, etc. So just because you use a web browser doesn't mean you aren't affected by the Tapatalk plugin.

Deleted a quadruple post last night. Can't do it in tapatalk. Went to desktop site to delete them.
