Good looking watch, but they must be high to ask $10k.

Personally it is a mess to me. I don't care for the lugs, the cyclops, and the hands just don't work for me. I don't know what it is about them, just wrong choice. I wouldn't be a buyer at any price in this current configuration. The Oris costs almost $9000 less and is much better looking.

I agree. The lugs are not right for this one. The cyclops is silly.
Re: Ulysses Nardin takes on the Oris 65...
I can't consider it seriously for the cyclops

They must be chasing Rolex buyers.
Re: Ulysses Nardin takes on the Oris 65...
A watch maker of their calibre putting out a watch with a strap that is short of the lug width is very shoddy. Save all the other issues mention. J

That must be one of those faux sailcloth straps

I don't see the oris similarity besides the circle indices.

Same size, vintage inspired, low WR for a diver. Otherwise the Oris poops all over this watch.nweash wrote:I don't see the oris similarity besides the circle indices.

Wow...a real departure for UN.
I applaud their boldness. One or two interesting aspects but not enough to make me want to buy.

Nice bezel.
Re: Ulysses Nardin takes on the Oris 65...
The Cyclops kills that dial....otherwise, not bad...The 10K part is kind of funny...

Thin lugs and cyclops kill it right off. Somethings off about the bezel too. The original looks much better, a more faithful reproduction might have been interesting. Though at that price, would never even enter consideration.

Re: Ulysses Nardin takes on the Oris 65...
Did anyone here read the Monochrome text? UN based it on their own 1964 model. Oris may well have copied that gem. Also, no one has mentioned the twisted lugs, a la Speedy Pro. Except they don't like them here.
