What ever became of Oceanaut?
What ever became of Oceanaut?
They were the darlings of the Hollywood set about 2-3 years ago. The owner was on TV like every other day. Now, never hear of them at all. What ever became of the brand anyway?

. . . that's a good question Doc.
I never saw the TV shows, but I own two Oceanauts. Actually I really like them, decent movements, great bracelets, sapphire . . . . all for not a lot of $$$$ . . . . I especially like the Acquamariner that Tazman gifted me.

No slam against the watches. Seriously. Just wondering how a company goes from incredibly high visibility like Oceanaut and its "worn by....." statements (I mean A list Hollywood folks here) to never being heard from at all in 2 years or so??

I think the WATCH COMMANDER must have had some mental breakdown from "coming in your living room" too much...

If I remember correctly some of the guys on 3L also peddle some of these watches. I always thought they were the same as Invicta and I wouldn't be suprised if they were made at the same factory.
