SOTC 3/2017

Post by raf42 » Sun Mar 05, 2017 10:01 am

By popular demand (well, ok, one person asked), here is my current collection. Realized I've never take a collection shot before. Yeah, I've got too many watches, but still enjoy each one.

Nice, Rob! Thanks for indulging .

Excellent diver-focused line-up. We have very similar tastes in watches.

EDIT: your first pic isn't showing up for me.

Thanks Mike, Paul, Todd and Art. Yes, Todd, it's your fault ;)

Paul, the JLC chrono is a serious favorite of mine too.

Fixed the first pic (full collection), thanks for pointing that out. :salute:

You very obviously need another watch to make it an even 20.

Wow. Amazing collection that's a lot of nice watches. Not one I don't like.
My favorites are
JLC DSC
Omega PO
Omega Seamaster
Pelagos
Rolex

I'd be done with those

Beautiful, Rob.

What strap is that on the MBII?

Looks like it clears just enough to no get chewed up by the knurling.

Thanks Brice. If I had to choose only 5 to keep, pretty sure those would be my exact choices too :o

Sadly, that point is not lost on me

Eric, It's a "Zuludiver divers 2 piece" - https://www.amazon.com/ZULUDIVER-Waterp ... B01610VPTC

Nice enough, though I'm spoiled by the two straps by Art I have. this one comes within a micrometer of the knurling, but does not touch it when the strap is deployed.

I just noticed most of your watches seem to be set for the same time.

Do you keep all of those dudes running? You must have a serious watch winder...

I could never bring myself to spend the money on a really nice winder. A good friend gave my his old 6 watch Orbita when he replaced it, which was a really, really nice gesture (it's a bit beat up but works great). I also have two 4 watch Heiden winders, which I find attractive and reasonably inexpensive. Also have a single watch Wolf winder. So yeah, I keep some significant portion of them all running for better or for worse.
