MILSPEC PRO TREK

Have we talked about this yet? It looks pretty cool and functional - I'd probably pick a different color combo for working - and if the battery lasted longer than a day I'd wear the hell out of it.

Looks cool, but Android based makes it a no-go for a very large chunk of consumers and the battery life of a day with "normal" use is abysmal.

None of these smart watches are ready for prime time, IMO.

Yep or someone who is only going to be out in the shit (whatever that means to the individual user) for less than a full day. Definitely not for an overnighter (unless you have something like a BioStove that can convert thermal energy to electrical).

Love protrek (have 2 now) - most intuitive ABC watches on the market - but I have the solar models so no charging required

I work in a secure facility, they wouldn't let anything like that in the building.

I don't know about that. That watch is pretty damn big!

You're gonna have to power thru it. First couple of times are the hardest.

5 Bar = 50 M WR. Not that impressive.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
