How to tell a watch is headed for the Sales corner
If you hit a door frame and your very first thought is "This is gonna hurt resale value". I think I'm there with my Pelagos...
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Oh man, this is the coolest watch ever. Post pics. Wear for 2 hours. Put in watch box to forget.

I love this micro-brand.. same quality as Rolex, but 1/100th the price. Defo a keeper, never looking back, amazed they can hit the same quality at such a good price point.

Interesting, a bunch of strap changes is usually a signal that my watch is going to hit the Sales corner. It typically means that I'm trying to find some combination that works and not having any luck.mikeylacroix wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2017 6:50 pmMoment I decide not to size the bracelet or change straps...

Most of the time I just have to look at the WRUW for the day, then go to the watch box and decide what I can part with to be able to grab whatever it was that I saw on that days thread that I MUST HAVE

As soon as I start to think about what I could get at similar value, I realize the honeymoon is over. Lucky for me, I put a lot of thought into purchases so they stick around for a long vetting period.

I usually do the same and have never sold a watch!
When I open this thread with just the mildest hint that a Pelagos may be coming up for sale and I start to wonder about selling the incoming that hasn't arrived yet!

Dang, I have $XX,000.00 tied up in watches. I never wear THAT one ...
