Great bracelet and a nice fitted rubber strap so not a bad pair of options. But certainly less versatile than some other watches.Jeep99dad wrote:If $ isn't a concern then that'd be my choice but the proprietary strap system is a downside.logan2z wrote:

Yep, had it, loved it but couldn't deal with that strap system. I don't like bracelet nor rubber in general so it's a waste of a watch for me but beautiful headBradystraps wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2017 7:13 pm100% agree, Brice. LOVE that watch but HATE the strap handcuff.

Did you wear it on canvas? Can't see NATO or leather working real well on this watch.Panerai7 wrote:Yep, had it, loved it but couldn't deal with that strap system. My Fortis is more off white, but I love it. The hands and markers are blue steel. Shines blue or looks rich black depending on light. I had a very hard time finding this one (which I got new). They don't come up often.
That white PO is awesome.

Love the IWC 3568. The strap situation is challenging however, not only because of the proprietary lugs but also because it just didn't fit my wrist properly.

White face drivers
I've got a handful of white dialed watches. I'll get a group shot put together.
Some awesome ones posted so far. The IWC is a tough one to beat. Prob my fav along with the Aegir CD1 which is hot pants sexy as hell also.

No I wore it on XL Rubber which I had to pay extra $260 for and that's without a buckle which is fn ridiculous in itself. thank god the days of retarded IWC with those lugs and windshield wiper date windows are over;)logan2z wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2017 7:50 pmDid you wear it on canvas? Re: White face drivers
So doesnt the IWC 3568 sell for more than the GS SBGX115? So why would that be an option?

Does silver count?
Also, peep the white-dialed Mako USA by Orient. That might be the best value-for-quality here yet.

White face drivers
I think somebody summed this up recently regarding doxa. I remember reading it and thinking it described me to a tee. I have came really close to pulling the trigger on a doxa many times over the years. Especially, a silver dial or navy but even a yellow. I like doxa a lot , but realistically I am not convinced I would get to wear it much so I always back off.
I am getting better at separating watches I like and watches I'd wear. One thing that has changed over the last 18 months, I am wearing bracelets more often. It used to be about 85% straps.
Also, I have too many enemies to ever consider a doxa orange (Clemson, Tenn. Volunteers, Browns and Bengals).
