New JLC Master Control Lineup for 2017

JLC has completely revamped the Master Control line for 2017. Sector dials, skeletonized hands, a more vintage feel, lower prices.

Below are a few pics I grabbed from Instagram of the new Master Control Date, Geographic, and Chronograph.

Sizes remain the same at 39mm for the Master Control Date and 40mm for the Chronograph.

I like bulls eye dials. I like them all.

I honestly liked the simplicity of the older versions. Felt a lot more pure. Still chasing a Geophysic for now.

Preferred the old dials. These look less classy somehow. Like something with Timex on the dial.

Much prefer the older lineup, though they certainly tended to be more "dressy".

I like elements of these new dials but I also prefer the old lineup. JLC still shows both on their web site but I assume they'll be phasing out the previous generation.

Really getting the Habring vibe from the chronograph...

I love them. Haven't seen all of the sihh releases yet, but these are far and away my favorites so far.

Did they do a Memovox?

Not that I've seen. There are several watches in the Master range that still haven't been revamped, including the various MUTs. The two generations of Master collection have very different design languages so keeping them both in the lineup seems a bit odd

There were no new Memovoxes this year, unless you count the Rendez-Vouz Sonatina...

I really like the chrono. Dial has a vintage vibe to it.

I think the combination of the skeletonized hands with this dial are a bit of a disappointment for me. I prefer the older models, same as other posters they just looked classier.

Here's a JLC for 2017 that I do like, the Reserve de Marche with a beautiful blue dial.

They are, at least, very practical.

I've always been a huge fan of the Master Control and JLC in general, but I have to admit, I like the old alpha hands MCs more.

i like the look of the geophysic. even on the bracelet. i like the option to wear something dressier on a nice bracelet.
