Eberhard Scafograf 300
I've always been a fan of the originals. Have we had a thread on the reissue?
Anyone handled one?
I like the proportions a lot. (Yes, Mike, the original is always better)

I like the style, but then again it is fairly generic / basic so hard not to like it.
The price though - $4K? I'd be looking at Tudor at this price point, not an obscure remake.

They seem to be selling discounted at $2100-$2400. Not horrible, but a tad high yet.Ryeguy wrote:I like the style, but then again it is fairly generic / basic so hard not to like it.

Case design and bezel action combine for a higher price point if the quality is there.demer03 wrote:They seem to be selling discounted at $2100-$2400. Not horrible, but a tad high yet.Ryeguy wrote:I like the style, but then again it is fairly generic / basic so hard not to like it.

only accurate watches are interesting
Re: Eberhard Scafograf 300
I agree. Vintage is always better, but this one's nice.

This would be way better with chamfers inside the lugs.

Re: Eberhard Scafograf 300
Attractive, but I agree it is somewhat generic. Would like to see how that clasp works - although it appears to be a nonadjustable butterfly. Competition at the $4k price point all has nicer movements, or in-house, including Monta which uses an Eterna movement. I do like the bezel and dial. Lumed bezel I hope?
They didn't even try on that Caseback. Cheap Seiko's do far better.

Looks nice, although a re-issue of the 200M....
would be preferable IMHO.
Nice diver though.

I love the vintage model.. but this new one leaves me cold, something about it is just not right, it's very sterile and dull.
