I've never had a watch with the Seiko mecha quartz movement... I'm liking the Killy very much. The customizer lets you add hands with lume, that's the only thing I would change.

There you go Mike... those lume hands are the ones I like (probably blue or black for me). The strap comes with quick release springbars, which I like.

I hate those spring bars. They aren't replaceable so if they break, or don't function as good as new the strap is done with. Unless you can cut the spring bar out. Not to mention the two straps have with those spring bars use cheap ass bars. I am not saying that but that is what two of mine are like.

I've only experienced them on my sailcloth strap, which I use with the Speedy when I need a "dress" watch. So far so good, although it's not a harsh environment for the watch (weddings, xmas parties, etc).

Oh okay. I would think it wouldn't be a big issue in that environment. Another pet peeve is the spring holes not being the same diameter as the spring bars. But that is a personal conflict of mine. :crybaby:

Can't wait for this to be ready. I was able to grab the super early bird special for $155 which includes personalization. I've handlers many examples of their dive watch and was impressed.
I'm pretty much going to "make" the Killy but with rose gold bezel.
