Saw this posted on WUS and my first reaction was that it must be a goof. Then I realized it's probably for real. OMFG.

Sucks. I remember when the boss of glycine shut down a whiny customer for some small issue and wanted a replacement watch, instead giving him his money back and told him "our watches arnt for people like you" basically not needing his business. Opposite end of the cool spectrum vs ShopNBC

So, I don't like the "progression of Glycine".

How to drive a brand into the ground with one fell swoop.

I guess in the bright side if you own an original glycine, it's going to be worth a lot of coin.

I don't understand why they even bought them if they planned to take them down this road. I understand the desire to acquire a brand with real heritage, but do people attracted to this level of "styling" care?

Just shameful.

Hmm...quoted:
Image
That is a particularly ugly color combination for a new pilot watch offered by Glycine based on its famous Airman platform. It is the Airman Airfighter which appears to come in three color options. The hideous one in the OP, the one below (which is not my cup of tea, but not horrible), and another ill-advised model with some red in it. The push button to the left operates the chronograph function and I assume it provides some tactical advantage while flying a fighter jet (which I know most WIS do on their days off). It is 46mm, which is not huge for Gycine (see several Incursore models of days gone by). Aside from the two awful color choices for this model, after looking through their site I can find no other examples of Invicta creep. I think this watch is designed by someone at Glycine who should probably be shown the door quickly.

Looking at their recent pre-Invicta designs, perhaps they were a good fit for Invicta?
