Replace that Sub with an SD and that's my end game. Love those 3.GregBe wrote:New arrival Speedy today.

Who needs a date function...right? Not sure if I have too much black. All iconic pieces that I love, but wondering if my collection is too homogeneous. What do you think?

That to me is the perfect collection. One no bezel, one bad ass diver and a chrono. You can add color if you want, but that's pretty close to perfect in my book.

Nick, that looks pretty dang good. I like the size of that one myself. Enjoy it.

Looks great Greg. I also think about that sometimes, if I add a Sub, then what to do with the Speedy as both look similar. However, fuck that, as long as you're happyGregBe wrote:New arrival Speedy today.

You could add a Polar Explorer II or a Doxa for some color

Been super busy in the last two weeks, finally got some time to post a bad photo of an awesome watch
Question, anyone that have tried the Oris 65 on a nato and have also tried a Sub (non-C) on a nato, how to they compare on the wrist? Both watches are 40mm, but I guess the Sub is a little thicker.

All black is fine unless you add a straight dress watch. A meek suggestion would be to replace the Explorer with an IWC Pilot.GregBe wrote:Here my collection as it sits today.

only accurate watches are interesting
Re: **WRUW** Humpday Version - 2 Oct 2016
I briefly tried on Ralph's Oris, and it was on a non-nato leather strap. It's light and thin compared to a No Date 14060M on a nato. A No Date Sub has decent heft even without the bracelet. A Sub Date would be slightly wider, taller, and heavier, I assume.Joeprez wrote:Question, anyone that have tried the Oris 65 on a nato and have also tried a Sub (non-C) on a nato, how to they compare on the wrist? This works. I hear you do like them smaller.5661nicholas wrote:Just in, what seems to be looked at as the red headed step child of Speedy's. For me....it's the perfect size. Pretty accurate. The Oris is flatter on the wrist with the NATO. I have a flat wrist so maybe that helps. I have pretty much been leaving my SubC on the bracelet, and other watches on straps and NATO's.

That's nice. I think I'll have to try one of these, it's a good size for me.5661nicholas wrote:Just in, what seems to be looked at as the red headed step child of Speedy's. For as many posts as I read regarding people saying it is too small (not so much on DWC), it was a very pleasant surprise, for reference my wrist is just under 7", Go Cubs!!james80 wrote:That's nice. This is so hideous it should not be paired with such a beautiful blade. I will take one for the team and "dispose" of it for you shielding you from further embarrassment. [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
