Nice Doxa homage from Dagaz
Nice Doxa homage from Dagaz
Charcoal sunray dial, bracelet, domed AR sapphire, Miyota 9015 - not bad for $450. A decent beater if you like the Doxa style.

I like it. While I know it's an homage...it's not pretending to be original like so many try to do these days with their pathetic website or KS copy.
And it's better than the roulette dial he originally did in this case design.

I think I like it - in the same way I like a Steinhart as an affordable Sub daily beater, this is an affordable daily watch with a Doxa inspiration.

Three times more than this one.JP Chestnut wrote:How much is a used doxa?

Not bad for an homage. I like it better than those Irreanteum homages, though those are slightly more original. Slightly.

Hmm...if I really wanted a DOXA, even if this was 1/3 of the cost it looks 1/3 as good (if that).
It's like there's a party where good looking watches go...and this one wasn't invited because it's f'ing stupid looking and ugly.

I'd like it better with an orange dial.

Not bad at all. I like it and much more affordable than a used Doxa.

Re: Nice Doxa homage from Dagaz
No to bad but a bezel insert would look better. My issue with it is that fact it pretty much a straight copy, even down to font used for the words on the dial. The only thing Dagaz did change is the bezel.

Re: Nice Doxa homage from Dagaz
I quite like it but he could've done his owner think with the dial, font, text placement and hands so it wasn't a straight out copy.
I could go for a case like that but only if it was its own thing and not a wannabeadoxa.
