Akrone's K-02 Titanium Diver

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Sep 22, 2016 10:37 am

Anyone see this new diver getting ready to kick off over on Kickstarter from French
watch company Akrone?

The watch is named the K-02, and it has a nice brushed, and polished titanium, or
black DLC case, knurled matte black ceramic bezel with lume, and three dimensional
markers, and numbers. Looks like there are also some eye-catching "marker buoy"
style hands, and markers with BGW9 lume, wave pattern dial in choice of black,
blue, or grey, (Black Manta, Blue Rorqual, Grey Shark, Full DLC Black), AR coated
sapphire crystal, a unique water resistance of 267m, ETA 2892-2 automatic, plus
titanium bracelet, leather, and nylon strap options.

Have a look everybody...

Not bad. Perfect size. A lot of attention to detail and features for the price..... matte ceramic bezel, titanium case, top grade movement, etc.... surprised they can deliver for this price. Not a huge fan of the penis hands, but otherwise it is interesting if not ever so slightly over-styled.

The hands are horrible. I can't get Nick's description out of my head now...

Tom, what are you using to post here? I ask because all of your posts have these weird spacing issues going on.

Yep penis hands kill it for me

Not a fan. But particularly the hands and the crappy font and use of the underscore in K_2. Weird.
