I do NOT need this, but....
Re: I do NOT need this, but....
Would a regular NATO work or is it too long?

I think it would. You need a special triangular blade driver to remove screwbars

You have to order that separately. I chose not to (over a hundred bucks). I found jewelry drivers for around $18 on Amazon.

I wonder how it would look on an Isofrane....?

Re: I do NOT need this, but....
I don't think an Isofrane would fit. The space between the case and lug bar is tight. I'm thinking about this Bonetto as a rubber alternative.hoppyjr wrote:I wonder how it would look on an Isofrane....?
This looks thin enough at the ends to work, but has another potential issue for me, the length. Looking at aftermarket straps I have to consider the hinge at 6:00 adds about 10 mm to the strap length, so the BC strap could potentially be too long.
I did order this B&R velcro, which shouldn't have any fit issues.
I expected to wear it on normal natos, but unfortunately it doesn't work. When you tighten the strap it forces the hinge to 90 degrees and looks stupid. Natos would need to be two piece, which of course just aren't the same.
Strap options are a challenge.

^ thanks for checking that out Jeff. I love the looks of that watch, but it wouldn't work for me.

Probably one of these Maratac deployment style straps could be trimmed to work well.

Re: I do NOT need this, but....
That would work except the ZRC has 24mm lugs. But Bonetto makes a 24mm version of that same strap that I'm considering. Definitely a viable option.dmckean44 wrote:

Re: I do NOT need this, but....
Hey Jeff I have one of those BC rubber straps like the one you posted and it is too long on a Aegir. But it has almost no room on the Aegir between the lugs and case. I also have B&R Velcro strap, and it fits on the Aegir but if you have a wrist smaller than 7" then you can't get it tight enough (at least on the version I have).jswing wrote:I don't think an Isofrane would fit. I missed that these things have 24mm lugs, that really does limit your options. It's a rad watch though and definitely worth all the trouble of finding the right strap.

Re: I do NOT need this, but....
Well damn, then that BC 321 definitely won't work, because it'll be even longer on the ZRC. And you've got a bigger wrist than me. Thanks for saving me $26. As for the velcro, they come in 3 different sizes, and I ordered the smallest. Unless I did the math wrong, it should work.toxicavenger wrote: Hey Jeff I have one of those BC rubber straps like the one you posted and it is too long on a Aegir. Re: I do NOT need this, but....
It actually would work on an isofrane, or at least Terry's isoclone. I remembered I had one so I threw it on. It's 22mm which obviously looks stupid, but if it were 24 I think it'd look good.hoppyjr wrote:I wonder how it would look on an Isofrane....?

Re: I do NOT need this, but....
Just following up - it does work on isofrane, it'll probably be my go to strap.
And on B&R velcro
