That is a seriously nice collection.
Thanks. I've consolidated to get here and have thoughts on consolidating and trading up even further. I think 3, maybe 4 nice and different pieces, along with some daily beaters is a good goal.

I really like the rose goal Yachtmaster, but not sure I'm ready to wear gold at this point in life yet - also, precious metal watches suck in resale. The new ceramic Daytona is also on my list, but not sure if that's a long term watch either, but could make some $$$ flipping it if my AD calls soon enough. I'd love an Omega Snoopy, but only at retail and those all seem to be spoken for.

My ultimate grail is a double red sea dweller, but those prices have gotten out of hand, along with sellers cobbling together parts to create a vintage piece. A friend in the business is laser welding damaged cases and he's seen some of his clients not disclose the repaired case. He even suspects some are restoring cases and then putting them in tumblers to "age" them and sell them as untouched. It's a frickin scary market out there for vintage. :banghead:
we call this the "NB Times" mod :stir:

Just got this brown canvas back from Art. He was kind enough to restitch it a different color because I couldn't hang with black stitching.

That's cool.
Thanks a lot ! It's the closest I'll come to an Omega SHOM and be happily married at same time.

Switched to the SD42 for a late Disc Golf session

Agreed that SKX is perfect, I don't think you can pay for a look like that, and the sub is just plain brilliant!

So you got it! Looks great. How are you liking it?
I love this thing. I have found that a big part of my life works really well with a tool watch - and this is a pure tool watch. Every function this thing has I have found a use for. I totally dig it. I have wanted one for quite a while and am really glad I got it.
THAT'S what I wanted to hear!! I thought the features on that watch would be well suited to what you do. A match well made. Enjoy it Matt!
