Agreed.

But the loss in value compared to an AD bought 36mm datejust is about the same for most of the meh ones. Not bad but not great either.

The 3690.30 is one of the top grail LEs and yet I'd still rather have the latest CK2998 which looks a lot like it sans the gold case and dial color. But then there's the beautiful an equally rare WG 3689.30.31 that rarely comes up for $9500 which is a bargain considering how much gold there is in a 42mm speedy case. It's all about the production numbers and design.

Me too.

It's beautiful.

The fact that sourcing a Ti band outright isn't unheard of makes it even better. It's almost two fold in the sense of double incomings. I did it once with the SJ for my old 16710 (stupidly sold) and it was doubly great.

I really like the new blue/white speedy. It reminds me of mine:

If someone buys it at that price then it was priced accordingly.

I know AC has a vested interest in the Snoopy LE. I brought this up in a thread a while back when a guy was selling one for 12 or 13k. In Adam's words, "you just don't get it". It's true - I don't

It was stated that I didn't "get it" either. Still don't.
