I am sure your father is sorely missed, it must be nice to have the watch with you wherever you go. Nice watch and enjoy wearing it.

i'm lucky enough to have my father's watch. which was my grandfather's retirement watch before that. it's a wonderful thing to have to remember our fathers. you're lucky enough that it was also a very nice watch that you may have enjoyed wearing even without the family provenance, which just makes it doubly special.

That is a wonderful reminder of your dad. Cherish it for the rest of your life and then pass it on to your kids. I've got my two boys their birth year Omega's. What a great way to keep your dad's memory on your wrist everytime you wear it.

Peace be with you and yours. My dad passed suddenly in 1990, and I was the recipient of his GMT Master. When I wear it now, I can still envision it on his wrist even all these years later. It's quite special. Wear it in the best of health.
