Post by Panerai7 » Wed Mar 16, 2016 3:02 am

Umm, who said nothing to sell my BBB for? What did Ho Dinkee say, no in-house regular BB?
Boom! And a rivet bracelet!

Agree, Art. The new BBB is almost perfect for me.
The BB 36 seems a bit odd to me.

Won't get better than this, maybe never. I'll live with the Crown tube.

Agree. No crown tube would be sweet. It's just a matter of time before someone takes the BB Dark dial and throws it in one of these (that is, if they are compatible). I really like that rivet bracelet.

Oh, yeah, and it's probably just the pics, but the new BBB dial certainly looks a bit gilt-ier than the first gen's did, almost like the BB Red's.

Very attractive. WANT the bracelet... I will own that.

Too much $$ for a Tudor IMHO.

I'm sure they will sell millions.

Tudor is killing it...I bet like the Pelagos, the in-house price increase will be minimal...

The riveted bracelet...I might have to re=acquire a BB Blue

Mike

I think the 36MM is probably a bit old explorer-ish..

and check this out

Worst fitting bracelet I've seen for some time.

Don't mind the watch itself, but Tudor are now outdoing Omega - way too many special editions / variations.

With the in house movement versions of the BB, owners of the originals are, like Pelagos owners going to see their watches dive in value. I certainly won't buy another new Tudor unless it comes out with an in house movement straight away.

I agree that bracelet is awful. If going straight end it should be way higher up to close that gap, or do solid fitted end links.

Easy fix, it's a strap watch so save money and buy the strap version
Pvd bracelets look like a road rash in less than a year, so Tudor didn't even bother with SEL, good job
Yes I'm drinking Tudor Kool-Aid. 2016 is turning out to be a great year, first IWC fixes their #dope #bro #moron triple date, now Tudor doesn't mess up BB

I like the new BBB, but isn't this kind of like Tudor giving a big middle finger to everyone who rushed out and bought the ETA version they just released last fall?

Done, will order a red as soon as it's available. May even get a black.

Finally, a worthwhile Basel!!!

They probably fucked it up by making it thicker to accommodate the IH movement

I definitely was happy to see the revised BB has the In-House cal w/o the stupid extra text and the river-style bracelet. I will likely get the black SS version but I think to make it perfect for me they needed to change the spring bar hole location or add a second set for straps. It looks silly on oem strap. Gap is unsightly. After market custom strap can fix that but it's easy enough to address by Tudor

Yep. it's too thick as it is (ETA three hander) in my opinion.

Although I like they went in-house and didn't add a paragraph to the dial, I'm ready to buy an ETA model now

The thin, vintage-esq looking, bracelet only serves to highlight the over sized case.

I agree that the BB price increase should be minimal, but discounts will be rare for a year or so.

I don't like the BB in-house enough to sell anything, but a blue bezel version may be in my longer term future.

I'm sort of glad they didn't put the in-house in the Ranger, so mine doesn't become instantly obsolete. :)
