opinions on useful fitness watches?

Post by Lonchera » Thu Mar 10, 2016 4:31 am

I hate to buy anything made in PROC, but wondering if anyone who is an athlete on the board, has suggestions and experience with latest Fitness/GPS/Heart rate watches? Lonchera is an outdoor runner, and it's time (ha ha) to retire the Timex Marathon...

To qualify, I don't want to spend over $400 - it will need to track in forests for trail running.

I'm confused that you spoke in third person.

That's all I got.

My buddy just bought the new Fitbit Blaze and it looked decent.

My wife just bought me a Garmin Forerunner 15. Very basic GPS/Fitness watch that also does the fitbit stuff. Around $100. Cheaper refurbished. Only downside is that you have to connect it manually to upload to a pc. The more expensive Garmins use bluetooth, but they cost far more.
