I've searched for a while on their site, as well as general Google searches, with no luck. Does anyone know if the Jomashop (in-house) warranty is transferable?

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
Never heard any stories. That's one of those situations I'd rather beg for forgiveness rather than ask for permission.
Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
Unfortunately, the original buyer isn't being cooperative. Need the original invoice number to file a claim

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
The Jomashop warranty is a myth like Krampus or the MSRP of Invictas... It's not real...

Out the guy so we don't get the same treatment

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
I sold a watch that I had bought from Jomashop and the buyer found that it didnt hold the power reserve - so I helped him send it back to Jomashop, with all the details I had when I bought it. They have it at the moment and are fixing it - will see what the outcome is - but it should be transferrable, if its not, then we have covered ourselves by saying that I had bought the watch for him as a gift, so there is no reason why it shouldn't be still valid

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
Sure. Here is what I posted on WUS feedback:
So here is the official Paypal dispute:
I purchased a Certina Chronograph watch from the Seller on 2/21/16. The item was picked up from the post office on 2/26/16. While I sent the Seller a note thanking them and commenting on its appearance from a visual perspective (after opening the shipping box), I soon realized that the chronograph feature of the watch was not operating properly and reached back out with a subsequent message (all communications via watchuseek.com - Watch you seek is Watch you get! and copies of correspondence can be provided). On the third communication attempt he responded claiming 1) nothing was wrong with the watch; 2) The watch is your problem not mine and 3) Take it to a watchmaker and get it repaired.
I have told the seller that I would provide both pictures and video to show the damage, but he has refused.
I was told the watch was purchased from Jomashop in Dec 2015, so (assuming this is correct) is under warranty.
He has since told me he would split the cost of repair.
Unacceptable.

Latest responses:
Get the watch fixed locally and let's split the bill and move on. I don't understand how can people pass judgement without hearing both sides? I ask you to please stop bashing my good name or allow others to in a public forum. i have sold a couple of watches to Jeep Dad before with no problems. No matter the outcome, frustration etc. we both experience with this sale I would never have done this to you!
Sounds like all you are interested in is getting rid of your problem? I get a damaged watch back that took place while in your hands. Now I need to get it repaired and then try to re-sell it after you and your "forum buddies" have trashed my good name? Send me back the watch and I will send it back to Joma Shop under warranty and send it back to you after it's repaired.

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?
The guy doesn't get it. If he just cooperated in the first place, nobody would have known. Shit happens, it does to all of us! The difference is how each of us reacts to the issues!
