What do you guys think of this model? IMO it looks much better than the SS version.

Been eyeing it on instagram, disappointed to find out that it's not DLC but PVD. Love it overall.

I like it a lot. I'm very interested. His watches are well made and he has great CS too. They also retain value better than any other or most other micro IMO

agreed, jason's CS is top notch.

i'm curious to see whether the larger numbers of later watches affects long-term resale. before the tropik, he made much more limited numbers of individual designs. starting with the tropik, he's had more runs and more watches (and more variations). i'm not unhappy he did, but that has to affect resale value to some extent.

DLC is a material. PVD is a process. All DLC is applied using the PVD process. There are plenty of other coatings that look great and are durable.

Yeah I get that, but Puck was DLC and was advertised as so, this one is not?

Edit: antother words when the manufacturer uses DLC for their PVD process it's usually advertised as such, because of it being tougher than whatever else they use for regular PVD process.

I love the case and the bezel proportions. The hands are bit odd.

Totally. Like it or not that Puck was built really well.

The puck was a tank. If I could pull it off I would have- for more than a weekend that I actually had it.

But for the folks who are trying to sell their pucks for >$1000 on recon = :bird:

Agree with Wayne - the hands are, I don't know, out of place?? But everything else is spot on!

I like it but I agree the hands feel odd. Maybe they are meant to compliment the 1 2 4 5 ... markers.

Jason is a great guy and his watches are excellent quality for the price.

I wanted to love the Delfin and had high hopes, but the handset just keeps me away. I disliked the same style on the Maratac Pilot and it's the only thing I dislike about Art's white Eterna. It's surely just me, but oh well.

Maybe Jason thought it was only right to have Dauphine hands on the Delfin? If you dig dolphins, this is undoubtedly the watch for you.

I didn't buy one for the same reasons. I love the rest of the watch, but the hands and markers are not for me.

Mark, think this one looks great really ! The finish together with the
strap makes for a mean combination, but then the triangle markers,
and hands bring in such a neat element too !!! :excited: Awesome sir ! :)

Jason has made some great pieces in the past, I have owned many of them. But this one doesn't trip my trigger. Those thin lugs and the massive case-to-strap gap kill it for me.
