Coming full circle: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
It was one of those pieces that just seemed a bit out of my league when I first got infected...
got a chance to get one at a good price.
U guys are awful enablers...thanks Mike.
Loving it.
stunning sapphire bezel
comfy caseback...I can imagine if its a seethru caseback would make a thick watch already thicker?
lots of depth in the dial
reasonably clean dial
the domed crystal is both stunning and hard to photograph
its a beauty
its a keeper! (for now...)
So...how does the strap change work? 0.9 hex keys on both sides?
What kinda strap works well with this one?

Congrats bud!
Re: Coming full circle: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
Reckon the strap it is on is the way to go. They are made for sailcloth straps and looks great on them.
Nice work Mike, you are getting more conservative with your tastes compared to when we 1st met

Congratulations. Great photos of a classic
Re: Coming full circle: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
Next order yourself a pair of extra bars and screws if you start changing straps. Read many stories of breaking screw heads etc on these. I ordered from tourbillon Store for back up.

Although, Mike, honestly...
not a fan...imo you threw your money away. seriously. you may not think so right now, and you may not think so ever...but I think you did.
can you take this into the water? of course, you can. but the watches really don't have anything appealing to the eye. maybe the Black Dial is the 'best' of the group, but that's about it.
again, my opinion only...if you and your friends like them, then that's all that really counts.
