Seiko Diver I bought in 85 from a pawn shop, did a lot of military crap wearing this and it's still going strong. I have a lot of respect for Seiko watches. J

I was wearing this in 1985 I was a one watch guy just got off active duty in the Navy and bought this Seiko around 1981 from the Ships store on the USS Proteus AS-19 home ported in Guam. Jack relumed it last year and he also put a sapphire crystal on it still works perfect today it once looked beat to hell now I don't treat it as a beater.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual, purchased in 1957 by my father (an Air Force fighter pilot who was killed in a training accident in 1963) given to me when I graduated from college in 1980. Still have it, although I don't wear it except for special occasions.

Casio Calculator. I went through one a year in the '80s as the straps broke.

I was 9, and I think at that time I had either an Armitron (had to have a stopwatch feature!) or a cheap calculator watch. Lord knows I wanted the Casio version, but no such luck.

Oops, I missed the point of this post. I don't think I wore watches in 1985.
